Arran 10 from the Islands region is a well-rounded single malt Scotch whisky with a vibrant profile of tropical fruits, honey, peaches, and apricots. The palate offers a blend of sweet notes like vanilla, toffee, and barley sugar, along with hints of oak and spice. While not overly complex, it provides a balanced sweetness and a good value for its quality. With a medium finish and a reasonable price point, this whisky is recommended for both novice and experienced drinkers.

I get hit immediately with spice and then it flips to sweet. I paid $56 for this and I think this is a good entry level Scotch.

It's full on the nose, bold, soft barley sugar, some mild syrup, some mild sultanas but intensely delivered. It's a affordable, you buy a bottle of this and you don't feel like you're getting the piss taken out of you.

I really like the nose on the Arran 10 year old. It's classic Scotch malt.

A lot of exotic fruit in it as it was before with a formal one. Close to 30, it's good value for money.

Big fruitiness here like big peaches, big apricots. It's surprisingly cheap, it beats out a lot of more expensive lesser whiskeys. It's an amazing bang for buck.

There's some really nice sweetness about this whiskey. It's reminding me a little bit of a dessert wine like a Sauternes. You're definitely getting that syrupy notes, some tropical fruit like mango, ripe bananas, ripe apricots, and also it's kind of bringing to my mind like a toffee apple. I would say definitely yes. I got this for about 79 New Zealand dollars. Through the lens of value, this whiskey starts to be lifted up, its head and shoulders start to go above a lot of other whiskies in its category.

Sip It or Skip It: Arran 10
I really do think that this would be a good introductory Scotch for the people that are coming from the bourbon world.

ralfy review 1010 - Arran 10yo @46%vol: (OSWA winner 2023)
Aon has earned it. It's a simple whiskey, it's a young whiskey but my goodness what it does it does it really really well.

Arran 10 re-review #198 with The Whiskey Novice
I just cannot get over that heat at the back of the palate. It frustrates me because I would love to enjoy it.

Arran 10 years
I like it. Nice whiskey. A nice journey between exotic fruit and a very dark cacao oaky type of whiskey.

Why am I just noticing this now? | Arran 10 REVIEW
I love this stuff. It's absolutely brimming with bright, fresh, vibrant orchard fruits. It's very fruit baskety, engaging, and unique.

World's best Scotch? Arran 10 review #02
I think it's a well-made whiskey, it's a dependable whiskey, it has integrity and it does everything right. It tastes great, it has a good nose and palate. But look, I'll be honest with you, it's not super complex. There are more complex whiskies out there, but for a 10-year-old, for the value, this is a great whisky and it's definitely one that I would recommend.
